Resurfacing starts with an inspection, then draining and cleaning the pool, then removing the damaged surface material down to sound structure. Any underlying structural issues get repaired before new surface material goes on, finished in your choice of quartz, pebble or glass beads. Cutting a corner earlier in that order is how a resurface fails early, so we don't skip steps.

The coping's job is keeping water out of the pool shell. Once it cracks or shifts, it stops doing that job, which is why we treat coping repair as structural, not cosmetic.
